How do I download and install the OverDrive Media Console?
You may download the OverDrive Media Console from the OverDrive site. Click the OverDrive Media Console icon. A security warning confirming your download will pop up, asking if you want to run or save the file. Choose “Run”. The file will begin downloading. No action is needed at this point. Simply wait for the download to complete and move to the next step. Another security warning confirming that you want to run this software will pop up. Again, choose “Run”. The installation process will begin. After a couple preliminary screens, the OverDrive Media Console Setup Wizard will display. Choose “Next”. The next step in the installation process is to read and accept the terms of the Software License Agreement. Please review the agreement and select “I Agree” if you agree to the terms. Once you have selected “I Agree” you will be able to choose “Next”. Next you will be asked to select an installation folder. Often the default folder listed in the box is fine.
