ActiveX is a digital software suite designed by Microsoft to help Web designers in building advanced features into their websites. By using ActiveX, Web designers can build videos, interactive objects and advanced scripting features into their website. In order to access an ActiveX video, you must be using Internet Explorer, which comes pre-installed with ActiveX controls. In addition, you must ensure that your browser is properly configured to allow the download and streaming of ActiveX video. Open Internet Explorer by double-clicking on the appropriate shortcut on your desktop. Click on the “Tools” drop-down menu located in the upper right-hand corner.
