While you can’t download the official Windows WordPad program to your BlackBerry handset, you can download a WordPad file for use with appropriate BlackBerry applications, including email and instant messaging. Other third-party BlackBerry applications may also use some WordPad features. Turn on your BlackBerry phone and connect it to your computer using the universal serial bus (USB) port. Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager if it doesn’t open automatically when you connect your BlackBerry phone. Click “Media” from the BlackBerry Desktop Manager’s home screen. Open the Media Manager on the next screen. Locate the WordPad file in the Media Manager.
