How do I document B13A transaction number or summary reporting number, if I am using a FedEx Ship Manager™ (a FedEx electronic shipping application) to send my package?
New fields have been added to allow you to declare whether a Export Declaration (B13A) is applicable to your shipment and to capture the manner in which you filed the B13A, as well as the associated B13A transaction number provided to you by the Canada Customs. To avoid delays, submit the B13A to Canada Customs prior to creating your shipping documentation. If a B13A is not required, select ‘No B13A required’ from the ‘B13A filing option’ choice list. If you have indicated that a B13A is required for your shipment, you must indicate how your B13A was submitted (i.e., CAED, Summary Reporting or manually) and enter the applicable transaction number, authorization code, or a summary reporting number, depending on how the B13A was submitted.
