You could do one my father did for me. Take a large coke bottle, and make three small holes in the vertical side. One near the bottom, one a third of the way up, and one two thirds of the way up. Put the bottle under a faucet and fill it. The high pressure at the bottom of the bottle forces the water out sideways out of the bottom hole further than the low pressure at the top hole. (Adjust the water flow to keep the bottle nearly full).
