Oil based and latex paint, solvents, pesticides, antifreeze, aerosols, cleaners, degreasers, computers, mercury containing devices and batteries are commonly accepted materials at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at 2561 South Broadway, in the Village of Ashwaubenon. Open hours are Thursday, noon until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Materials that cannot be brought to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility are tires, infectious and biological wastes, radioactive material, explosives and ammunition. Call the Recycling Hotline for more information in regard to the disposal of these materials, (920) 4484400, Option 5. Used tires, appliances and Lead Acid Batteries are accepted at the Brown County Transfer Station.
