Then there is a facility (further information from House Services) for the purchase of special ‘sharps’ containers for chemical sharps that are basically the same as the Clinical Waste container. These are used in the lab and then (when 3/4 full) disposed of as a ‘hazardous waste’ using your normal special waste contractor.
