Professional advice turn the outside door lock to unlock and hold it for 2 seconds then get in and start the car do not use the key fob at this time. Drs door lock and trunk key lock can arm and disarm the security system. Now get out and arm the system drs window down by turning and holding the drs lock to lock 2 seconds security light turns on and should start flashing slowly after 45 seconds system armed reach in and manually unlock and open the drivers door and set off the alarm and turn the alarm off by turning the trunk key to unlock 2 seconds or drivers door 2 seconds lock turn… your car sounds as if the alarm has gone off and won’t allow you to start the car.. Next use the key fob and see if the security light also flashes. watch all the power locks for full travel. The maxima system is complex but old like me Nissan Techs know that system.
