How do I dial OIT telephone numbers and local off-campus numbers?
All OIT telephone numbers begin with either 885 or 851. When calling other OIT numbers from a campus phone, simply dial either 5+ the remaining four digits or 1 + the remaining four digits. To make an off-campus local call, dial 9 + the ten digit telephone number. Dial 9 before toll-free 1-800, 1-877, and 1-888 numbers as well.
