You can use the application, gspot to inspect the video file and display the codec required to be installed. Download the application from http://www.headbands.com/gspot and use the File menu in the program to load the video file. Observe the upper right section of the gspot application for the codec required. NOTE: Since there are many types of video files, the best place to find a specific codec is by performing a Google search. Linksys does not offer any technical support for codec/player installation or configuration.
