How do I determine the version of my GC/MS MSD ChemStation?
There are two ways. The easiest is to click on Help on the Main Menu Bar. Then click on About on the Help Menu. This will cause a dialog box to be displayed that will contain version information. Some versions of the GC/MS ChemStation will have a Revision History item on the Help Menu. This will provide you with a history of verious versions you have installed. The file INSTALLD.TXT in the \Msexe folder, which is in either the \MSDChem or \HPChem folder, depending on your version contains the revision history and can be viewed using Note Pad.
