To determine the proper bolt length, add together the following thicknesses: • the belt • the back of the bucket • any washers required • twice the thickness of the nut Round this total to the nearest 1/4″ standard bolt length, and you have the proper length for bucket installation. Tip: If using fanged bolts, be sure to add the length of the fangs to your total length.
