How do I determine the part number of my Wayne Combustion Systems’ P250 or P265 series gas burner?

If the burner has a motor/blower with a control box mounted directly to the top of the rectangular burner housing, examine the rating plate on the control box cover for a line indicating the burner Specification Number (or variation thereof). If the rating plate is lacking that line, or if the motor/blower is remote mounted, examine the burner’s rectangular diecast aluminum burner housing for a decal with the heading Specification Number (or variation thereof). That number is our part number for the complete oil burner and we will need that number to determine repair components.
