How do I determine the “Off-Label Use Code” for a product in an animal drug report?
A list of explanations for the Off-Label Use Codes is available on the CVM webpage “Veterinary Adverse Event Reporting for Manufacturers.” Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the section titled “Supporting Documentation” and click on the document titled HL 7 ICSR Vocabularies (XLS – 1277KB). Once the document is open go to the tab labeled “A30-Off Label Use Table” to determine the appropriate code.
