How do I determine if I should order a cart with a sneezeguard, such as the Model A6-SG?
Whether you should order a cart with or without a sneezeguard depends on your local health department requirements and/or your personal preference. Here’s an example: South Carolina, where we owned our Baskin Robbins store, does not require a sneezeguard with our carts because the freezers have sliding lids. However, after using our cart for a year without one, we grew tired of kids (and adults) putting their hands down into the freezer while we were scooping or resting their hands inside the freezer frame when we needed to close the lids. The sneezeguard eliminated this and also provided an extra shelf (the top) for a cup and cone holder.
