Flex SDK “Hero” supports building standalone mobile applications that run in the Adobe AIR runtime on mobile devices. You can use Flash Builder “Burrito” or the Adobe AIR SDK to create an application package that can be deployed and installed the same way as native applications on each platform–including deployment to application stores. Users who install AIR application packages on mobile devices will be prompted to download the AIR runtime on first run of an AIR application.
