How do I delete temporary internet files and cookies?
Answer Richard, To delete temporary internet files and cookies go to Tools, and the Internet Options. Under the General tab at the middle of the page you will see three buttons. They are Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and Settings. Click the Delete Cookies button and your cookies will be deleted. Click Delete Files and a small box will pop up on the left side asking you if you want to delete all offline content. Put a check in the box for Yes and then click OK. Then click on the Delete Files button. The temporary internet files will be deleted. If you are an advanced user, you can click on Settings and delete even more of the temporary internet files. This is what I do sometimes. What I do is to scroll down the list and delete all the files that have something to do with ads and other things that I recognize as “bad” such as tracking cookies.
