There is no way of deleting your answers account by itself, you can only delete your yahoo account in its entirety. What you can do is, make you answers account private, clear your fans and contacts, and change your answers account name, (I don’t think that you can leave it blank) and remove your avatar. Change all the settings in your profile so that no-one can contact you through your account. Then don’t use your answers account at all. After a time,your answers account will deactivate but your questions and answers will stay on the answers site.
