When you install the AVG 8.0 anti-virus software, it also includes an option to include a safe search bar on your web browser. You can use this toolbar to search for other websites without having to actually navigate to a search engine’s web page. To keep your search terms private, you can use an option in the toolbar to delete your recent search terms history. Click the arrow icon at the far right end of the AVG safe search bar. Scroll to the bottom of the list of recent search results. Click the link labeled “Clear History” to delete all your recent search terms. Click the AVG icon to the left of the search bar if you want to use the AVG search tool to delete other recent history. Scroll through the drop-down menu and select “Delete History.” Click “Delete Complete History” to remove all history items from your web browser. Choose “Delete Search History,” “Delete Cookies,” “Delete Download History,” or “Delete Browser History” to clear out specific history items.
