How do I delete messages from my WebMail account?
To delete messages from your Webmail account, simply place a check mark in the box at the far right end of the message and choose “DELETE” in the drop down menu on the top right side of the screen (next to the “Move” button). Then click on “Move” and the selected messages will be completely removed.
In order to delete a mail message from your WSU WebMail account, you must do the following after having logged in to WebMail: 1. Click ‘Delete’ at the top left of the message window or frame (not the message index window or frame). This marks the message for deletion with a circle with a slash through it. 2. Click ‘Purge Deleted Items’ on the left. If you do not do this, deleted items will still remain in your account, contributing to your limited e-mail quota, potentially causing your account to go over quota if someone tries to send you a message. (If you do not see, ‘Purge Deleted Items’ on the left, you may see ‘Trash [Empty]’ instead. If this is the case, clicking ‘Empty’ empties the trash, freeing your e-mail space of those messages.
