How Do I Delete Media History?
Every time media files (pictures, videos, music or playlists) play in Windows Media Player, a backup or list of those files remains on your computer. Windows Media Player uses this information to determine how many times a file plays, builds lists and appears in the recently opened programs directory. Either delete the history after playing files or disable the feature, if you don’t want it to be available to others who use your computer with the same user account. Open Windows Media Player. Click on “Start” and then click the Windows Media Player icon or use the desktop shortcut to access the program. Click on the “Organize” drop-down menu and click the “Options” link. The Options window displays on your screen. Click on the “Privacy” tab. Click the “Music, Video, Pictures and Playlists” check boxes under the History section. Click the “Clear History” and “Clear Cache” buttons. Click the “Apply” button to start the procedure. Click the “OK” button to finish the process and exit Window
