How do I delete items from my TomTom?
If you want to install an updated item on your TomTom device, you can create more space on your memory card or hard disk by removing any existing versions of the item (e.g. an older map) using TomTom HOME. If you haven’t already done so, you need to download and install TomTom HOME. TomTom HOME is not compatible with NAVIGATOR 5/MOBILE 5- or earlier versions of these products. 1. Connect your TomTom device to your computer and turn it on. If you are asked if you want to connect to your computer, tap YES. 2. Click Remove items in TomTom HOME. 3. Select the items you want to remove. Important: Never delete a map without first making a backup of the map! 4. Click the next to Maps and then select the map you want to remove. 5. If this is the only map on your device, you will receive the following message. Click Yes to continue. 6.
