How do I delete addresses from my “Recent Addresses” drop-down menu on the “Driving Directions” page?
In order to clear out the addresses in your “Recent Addresses” drop-down menu, you must delete your Web browser’s (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) cookies. You cannot clear recent addresses on the Rand McNally website. For Internet Explorer users, under your browser’s “Tools” menu, go to “Internet Options” and make sure you are on the “General” tab. Then look for the “Delete Cookies” button under “Temporary Internet files” or the “Delete” button under “Browsing history.” For Firefox users, under your browser’s “Tools” menu, go to “Clear Private Data,” and check “Cookies” in the item list before clicking on the “Clear Private Data Now” button. Clicking on this button in either browser will delete ALL cookies, including your recent addresses on the Rand McNally website, as well as saved usernames and passwords on other websites you have visited.
