How do I delete a message posted to the discussion board in error?
Your ability to remove your own messages depends on the settings the lecturer has imposed on the discussion board. If the lecturer has enabled people to modify and remove their own messages you should click on the title of the message. This will open a new screen showing its content, and also the titles of any replies. Select the modify or remove button depending on the action you wish to take. If the lecturer has disabled the removal of messages for students please approach your lecturer explaining that you posted the message in error and wish to have it removed.
