How do I defrost my Servis freezer?

Honestly, the quickest way to defrost any freezer is to empty out the contents, then get a decent hairdrier and work it around, inside the freezer. You will need to soak up the excess water from time to time. Depending on how much ice is in there, you should only need ten to twenty minutes to complete the job, then bung your food back in there. We have always used this method and if you do it every couple of months, it takes hardly any time at all. Whatever you do, don’t poke at any ice with a knife, you could accidentally puncture the freezer and release all of the gas that is within the walls..
