How do i decorate my wall so that it looks like made of bricks?
Using masking tape to create and cover where you want the mortar pattern on the walls. Use a chalk line to create straight lines. Buy a bag of artex. Use a palette or filling knife to infil the brick spaces between the masking tape. Pull the masking tape off before the artex sets. Paint. If you want the mortar a different colour then paint the whole wall in that colour before putting your masking tape pattern up. If you don’t want to put artex up because it will be a pain to take off in the future, you could probably use filler, ready-mix coving adhesive, even wall grout. Messy, but I did this successfully around 1982.
