How do I decide when to use bold, italic, bullets or lines?
The use of fonts, lines and other graphic devices is part of a publication’s style. These are rules to make the use of type and elements consistent. A publication’s style helps make things clear for the reader, and it makes the site look professional. The administrator usually decides the style in agreement with other team members. For example, you might use bold for keywords; for names of prominent people; or for titles of books and recordings. You might use italic for names of articles and newspapers and titles of radio or television programs.
