How do I deal with a cocky SG president who hogs the spotlight?

Summary: I’m a student leader at a huge school in Texas. Our SG is very large and I’m one of several hundred people involved in the organization. The student body presidency is a big deal here and the guy we have now gets tons of publicity and undue glory. He hogs the spotlight, acts cocky, and seems to look down at all of us in SG. I’m getting frustrated. Can you help?
