First, make sure your Screen Saver is OFF! The procedure may vary on different operating systems, but generally you can get to it from most by double-clicking the MY COMPUTER Icon on your Desktop. Then RIGHT-Click the C: Drive Icon, and choose PROPERTIES. A box will pop up, and you’ll want to choose the TOOLS tab on top. You’ll now see the CHECKDISK and DEFRAG options. Click them and let them run through.
