How do i cut out my embossed design without chipping the dried embossed powder off.?
Cut in the direction where you can see the line of your design. For me as a left-hander that means cutting anti-clockwise. Using scissors does mean your paper or card is going to flex a bit as you cut which can cause it to crack. It is better not to cut right up to the embossing. I would recommend using an Xacto SWIVEL blade so you can cut on a flat surface. The swivel blade will go smoothly round curves and you can cut in and out on straight bits much more precisely than you can with scissors. There is a very expensive professional model but the cheaper one works almost as well.
