You can use the diamond blade tile cutter but to avoid chipping use it very slowly with lots of water and if possble with the tile upside down. As for securing the tiles to the floor you need a suitable stone adhesive and follow the instructions as some of the more porous granites will show the colour of the adhesive through them and so therefore may need sealing beforehand.
