Take MeasurementsMeasure from the center of the top window casing to the center of the bottom casing, and make marks this distance apart on a piece of molding on the edge that will sit next to the window. In the same way, measure from the center of the casing on one side of the window to the casing on the other side, and make marks this distance apart on another piece of molding.Cut the MoldingAdjust the blade of a miter saw to 45-degrees so that the blade splays out to the right. Set the molding that will fit on the right side of the window on the saw, and lower the blade until it almost touches the molding. Align the board so the blade is to the right of the mark on the right and just touching it. Raise the saw, start it, if it is electric, and cut through the molding. Repeat with the top molding.
