In WoodWorks Shearwalls 2002, you can choose what information to include in your design report – and you can format the report with your word-processing software. Once you’ve generated a design report (using the Run Design button), click the Show button (top left of the report), and a drop-down menu will appear. Select the information you wish to include in the design report by adding or removing check marks next to the appropriate menu items. By default, Shearwalls output report is divided into four sections: Structural Data – a synopsis of all the input information (building geometry, design settings, site information, materials etc.). Loads – a list of the wind and seismic loads (generated or user-defined) acting on each building surface. Wind Design – tabulated values of the shear induced by wind on each wall segment, along with the resistance provided by that segment as well as the resulting drag-strut and hold-down forces at each opening.
