How do I customize a 1995 Honda Civic?
Change the MufflerRemove the stock muffler by turning the screws counterclockwise using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Spray the screws with a lubricant if they are rusted for 15 minutes before unscrewing them. Attach the new muffler to the Civic. Screw the muffler in by turning the screws clockwise until they are snug in place. Mufflers can be purchased at automotive retail stores. Aftermarket mufflers will give the Civic a louder sounding exhaust.Spray Tint the Tail LightsOpen the trunk of the Civic. Pull back the trunk carpeting. Take out the screws holding the tail lights in place using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Unplug the wiring that powers the tail lights and remove the light bulbs. Place the tail lights on a flat cardboard box. Shake the spray tint for 30 seconds. Hold the spray tint 6 to 8 inches from the tail lights. Spray each tail light with a single even coating. Allow the spray tint to dry for 24 hours.
