How do I cross-sell items in my Vendio Store?
For each item in your inventory, you can list up to four additional items to be displayed at Checkout. For example, if you sell photography equipment and have a buyer purchasing a camera (either via auction, or by adding it to their cart in your store), you can “upsell” them an appropriate tripod, case, and film. You can even offer the extra items at a discount if they’re purchased at the same time. If a buyer purchases something that you have set up cross sell items for, when they are on the View Cart page right before checkout, those items will appear at the bottom with their appropriate discounts. Keep in mind these are only valid if purchased with the original item — if they delete the original item, then the item from the cross sell section will be sold to them at the original price.
