How do I create text containing a subscript or superscript?

0

Some fonts contain special information for subscripts and superscripts while others require the character size and baseline to be adjusted. Since different people might want to change the size of these adjustments, this is done in Intaglio via an AppleScript. There are sample scripts shipped with the Intaglio called Convert To Subscript and Convert To Superscript which you can add to the script menu in the Intaglio menu. To use one of these scripts, select the text you want to change with the Text tool and run the script. The script will check for the presence of special subscript or superscript information in the selected font and use it if possible. Otherwise the script will make generic size and baseline adjustments. If these adjustments aren’t to your liking, you can edit the script to use your preferred values.
