So you want to run a server! Running one off your dsl or cable modem at home is not going to be the best way to go. Basically its a way of running stuff on a remote machine that is connected to large amounts of bandwidth. They vary in price. Usually, you can find one for about $15(US) a month. Call up your ISP and ask them if they offer shells.
