How do I create footnotes instead of endnotes using the EndNote software?
This can be done using Microsoft Word’s footnote facility. • In Word, position the cursor at the point where you wish to insert a reference in your text. Go to: Insert > Reference > Footnote, then click Insert. • Click in the footnote field which appears at the bottom of the page. • On the Word toolbar go to: Tools > EndNote > Go to EndNote. • Highlight the reference you wish to insert then, on the EndNote toolbar, go to: Tools > Cite While You Write > Insert Selected Citation. The full citation will appear in the footnote area, and also in the bibliography at the end of your document.
