How do I create footnotes in EndNote?

0

Note: Creating footnotes is only possible with styles that are formatted for footnotes. • Open a Word document. • Open your EndNote library and select the reference you wish to cite in your paper. • Place your cursor at the point in the text of your Word document where you want to insert your citation. • In Word, go to References, and choose Insert Footnote. This will place a superscript number into your text, as well as bumping your cursor down to the corresponding number in the footnote section that has just been created. • Here, in the footnote section, you will now insert your citation(s) from the EndNote library. • From the EndNote toolbar, choose Insert Citation then Insert Selected Citation. A full formatted reference list will also be produced at the end of the text in your document.
