How do I create cylinder shape geometries with BEASY?
Typical application for pipelines, offshore structures, etc. Cylinder shape geometries can be easily generated by using the offshore Geometry Translator software. This software automatically generates tube shape structures (e.g. offshore structures) from coordinate data and structural members information in a text file. This capability converts a text file containing information about the geometry of tubular members into a BEASY output file that can be easily imported into the BEASY User Interface. The term tubular member refers to cylindrical tubes. The geometry of a cylindrical member, such as the one in Figure 1 below, should be specified as shown.
