Information about the formatting and structure of GEO files is available in the document “GeoTracker Survey_XYZ Guidelines & Restrictions” available in the “Technical Information” section on our webpage. Microsoft Excel spreadsheet templates are available by clicking on “GeoTracker Survey XYZ Templates (MS Excel)” in the “Forms” section on our webpage. Hint: Some of the GEO file fields are optional. To prevent receiving the error message “incorrect number of fields,” the delimited text file MUST contain a delimiter for EACH field, whether or not it contains data.
