With TAP6.0.2182 or later and a Maintenance Subscription date of June 30, 2007, or later, you can use the Import Template Utility to create empty Excel files formatted for the import. Note that all values in this example are for demonstration purposes only. You should determine appropriate settings for your application. The import function for Fixed Facility database records, Surface Feature files, AutoPath studies, and HDSpectrum intermod study data can be imported into TAP from Excel files. The Excel column heading required are defined in other articles about each import process. The Import Template function enables you to create an empty file with the correct headers for the columns. Then you can use that file to collect the data, and then import the file into the appropriate TAP database.
