Department shares are maintained by the Cost Center Manager or Dean. If you do not have access to your department folder, please contact your Cost Center Manager or Dean. If you need to share files with members of a cross departmental committee or if faculty wish to share access to a folder with students, you must create a new, separate shared folder and explicitly grant access to the people you wish to share it with. • Login to EdWeb for Faculty or Staff Information on the Web. • Click on the link for EdShare Information. • Click on Maintain Shared Access. • Click on Add New Share. • Enter a short, 14 character or less, name for the share. • Enter a short description of the share. • Click on Submit New Share. Note that the share will not be available for use until the following day. A script is run overnight to create the new share. • To add people to your share click on the link for Update Sharename. • Add students, faculty or staff by login name (email).
