How do I create an activity where students can identify the appropriate definitions for a list of words?
Simply type in a word, then type in its definition and continue alternating until you are through with your list. Then select “Matching (word/def)” as your activity. (Make sure you do NOT select “Matching (2 columns)” unless you want the words and definitions mixed together.) This will generate a 2-column list of words on one side and definitions on the other. Students can then identify which definition goes with which word by drawing a line connecting the two.
