How do I create, add or edit a rock type, rock accessory or symbol?
A. Creating and/or Editing Rock Types, Accessories or Symbols 1. Click on the Metafile Options selection located under the Edit pull down window. 2. Click on the category of the symbol you wish to modify or edit. 3. Click on the symbol you wish to edit or create. 4. Click on the Edit button. This will activate a System Message window. 5. Click on either Yes or No button and the Power Metafile Editor will open with the selected symbol in the window that you have selected. 6. You can now edit or create a symbol to your liking. 7. Once the metafile has been modified, click on the Save button. And the new symbol, rock type or accessory will be saved in your database and available to use on your log.
