Many people are now using Google Calendar since it can provide email or SMS alerts and can be integrated with Thunderbird. If you prefer to have a web-based calendar on the CS web server we have the Wcal Calendar/Planner that you can use. With Wcal, you view and update the calendar entirely through the web interface. You can restrict access using normal web server .htaccess rules, and you can create read/write and read-only views. So, for example, you might have a read/write view accessible by a couple administrators and the read-only view open for to the world.
