• In PhotoShop, first select New… from the File menu. • The New document dialog will open. Under Contents, make sure to select transparent. • Click OK, and a blank canvas will be created. The checkered areas indicate parts of your design that are transparent. This pattern is not part of your logo image, it just indicates that the image can be merged into any background. • Use whatever tools you normally would to create your logo. Do not fill the canvas backround with any color, unless you always want your logo to apper in a box.
