The Band-in-a-Box and RealBand installer will create a desktop shortcut for you, if you select that option when you install the program. Alternatively, locate and open the RealBand folder on your hard drive. Find the file RealBand.exe. Right-click on this file and select Send To | Desktop (Create Shortcut). You will now have a shortcut icon on your desktop to launch RealBand. You can name the shortcut whatever you want by clicking once on the icon and pressing F2 on your keyboard.
