How do I create a “rule” to filter my email messages to different folders as they are received in Outlook?
Rules can be used to manage your email messages in Outlook. You may create rules to automatically move, delete, forward, or flag incoming and outgoing messages. For example, you can easily create a rule to have Outlook notify you when messages marked with high importance arrive in your Inbox. To initiate this wizard select the Rules and Alerts… option from Outlook’s Tools menu and then click on the New Rule… button.
