If you’re creating a proposal for what was formerly known as an ‘unsolicited’ or ‘investigator-initiated’ R01, the new term is ‘Parent’. On the New Proposal Questionnaire in the SPIN search field type in “Parent R01” to find the right PA (PA-07-070). Please note that it is R01 with a zero, not a letter ‘o’.
